We are proud to announce the selection of Josh Noteboom as our new Principal and Lead Administrator for the 2020-2021 school year! Mr. Noteboom comes to us from the Bruneau Grand View School District with experience in both teaching and administration. He has a successful background in school management, and has experience implementing the 7-Habits of Highly Effective People, which is a cornerstone of the leadership experience for students at The Village.
The school board is honored to have had multiple distinguished and very capable candidates for this position, but we are particularly excited about Mr. Noteboom’s focus on leadership training, professional development, and maintaining a healthy school culture.
The board was impressed with Mr. Noteboom’s care for children, his leadership style, demeanor, and his approach to people and culture in an organization. He understands how important it will be to continue the excellence we have achieved in some areas, and how to improve in others. We think Mr. Noteboom is a great fit, and firmly believe he will take the school to new heights!
Mr. Noteboom joins us as our friend and current Administrator, Anthony Richard, moves on. We are forever thankful for Mr. Richard’s devotion to the school and the indelible mark he has left on the lives of our students, faculty, and staff over the years. Mr. Richard has worked diligently with staff during the Covid-19 epidemic and we are proud of the education we have been able to offer during the transition to distance learning. Mr. Richard has been working closely with Mr. Noteboom to ensure a smooth handoff and we thank them both for their devotion during this transition.
Mr. Noteboom is well into preparations for a successful start of next year, including addressing instructional challenges that may arise due to the pandemic. The school will provide the community with excellent, leadership-focused education for our children while maintaining a safe, flexible approach in our delivery.
